Bushra Ali- Trustee

I want to be part of an organisation that works to educate, raise awareness, and deliver training for individuals, groups and communities, couples and families grieving with such a loss. I want to be involved in raising funds to help continue to deliver cold cuddle costs, to repair existing ones and to help continue to fund ongoing research into infant mortality.

Sharon’s cause is an authentic one born out of the loss of a child, wanting to ensure other expecting parents do not need to face the same pain that she did. I commend her for her courage and strength and join her in wanting to support the vital work of The Luca Foundation.

Sandra Garlick MBE- Trustee

I truly admire Sharon for speaking out about Luca, and sharing her story about baby loss so openly to highlight the Charity and its aims. Luca’s legacy lives on through the work Sharon is doing, and the vital funds the Charity raises to support parents and families. I am honoured and delighted to be a Trustee of The Luca Foundation.

Wendy Morris- Trustee

After meeting Sharon, I was truly inspired by her story, despite the pain she has been through, her drive is incredible to see that every precious moment can be gained by those parents and families that suffer baby loss.

The legacy of the Luca lives on through The Luca Foundation which offers support and fundraising for cold cuddle cots to extend the precious gift of time.  I am so honoured to be a Trustee and to support this remarkable charity.

Joanne Brooks- Trustee

I am very excited and proud to be asked and looking forward to helping the charity anyway I can.

Hana Smiddy- Trustee

Upon coming across The Luca Foundation, I was blown away by Sharon’s incredible resilience.  To use such hardship to help others is truly inspirational. Many of us have been touched by someone who has had a similar experience, and after learning about the foundation, I was incredibly moved by everything Sharon has achieved. I’m honoured to be a Trustee and help Sharon and her team impact even more people’s lives and build on the incredible work they are doing across the UK.

Anna Rump Volunteer

Anna is the CEO of Amelia Rose Media Ltd, and an Angel Warrior. Each month she donates 10% of the company profits to The Luca Foundation.

Losing a child is the most painful moment, but it is a moment that you carry for the rest of your life. I am determined to try and bring any comfort possible to grieving parents and to help Midwifery teams train to support those parents in the very worst hours of their life.

Steve Beer Volunteer

Supporting bereaved families during their darkest time can be tough for both parents so it is nice to support a lovely charity like this one.
The Luca Foundation is close to my heart, so I would like to share and raise funds as a volunteer

Katy Osborne- Volunteer

Katy is the Director of KOVA Business Support and heard Sharon’s devastating yet inspirational story through the Woman Who Achieves Academy.

Having had close friends go through this traumatic experience also, it’s a charity I am honoured and proud to get involved with. No parent should have to go through this but the work the charity does to help these parents is phenomenal

Holly MatthewsPatron

I’m a huge believer in turning our pain into power, in finding the good sat next to the bad and I believe The Luca Foundation can create an incredible amount of good.

Marie Rowe- Ambassador

After 30 years in the Hollywood film industry, Marie joined The Luca Foundation after being deeply moved by Luca’s story. I am honoured to have been asked to be an Ambassador for The Luca Foundation and to work alongside Sharon to make a difference in the lives of others.

Amanda Chalmers – Ambassador

When I first met Sharon in the early days of her charity, I was instantly inspired by, not only her story, but her subsequent drive to make a difference to others who have experienced the same darkness in their lives.

I was proud to be invited to become an ambassador for such a wonderful charity and be a small part of its continued future journey of growth and success.
