The Luca Foundation appeared by chance at my own personal time of need. Speaking with Sharon, and hearing about the work of the charity, made me want to support the important support they provide. Baby loss is a cruel and isolating event in life, and a journey people should never have to do alone.

I wanted to help the charity to ensure no one has to do that and are able to spend the precious moments they have with their baby, and in the knowledge that they have a friend in the Luca Foundation to hold their hand for as long as they need.

It is such a honour to have been asked to become a patron for The Luca Foundation. Grief is something that we will all be impacted by and The Luca Foundation is forging the way to help grief become a topic that is openly discussed and supported. The founder, Sharon, has been able to achieve so much since starting the charity and is so driven to continue. Sharon is creating an open and impactful dialect about what we all experience and helping us along the way. I’m lucky to call Sharon a friend and I am inspired by the work of The Luca Foundation. 

After hearing your story and how much difference you want to make, using your own experience to help others to even just start to talk about there experiences is just incredible. Obviously food is my passion and strength, I also find it as a great way for people to connect and start talking. Using my platform after masterchef I feel it is important that I highlight different issues then help in any way I can to raise awareness!

After 30 years in the Hollywood film industry, Marie joined The Luca Foundation after being deeply moved by Luca’s story. I am honoured to have been asked to be an Ambassador for The Luca Foundation and to work alongside Sharon to make a difference in the lives of others.

It is with great pleasure that I announce my appointment as a trustee of the Luca Foundation.

As the founder of Bootcamp Media, a multi-Award-winning Web Design and Digital Marketing Agency, I believe the work Sharon and her team are doing deserves recognition, and I am eager to support the foundation in any way I can. 

My team at Bootcamp Media, are passionate about helping businesses and charities to grow their online presence using effective digital marketing tools and strategies that drive incredible results. 

I agreed to this, having heard the fantastic work that the charity carries out..I was so touched by the stories ,that I realised how important it is and would benefit grieving parents in their time of need..

And anything that could give them some comfort must be worth the effort…

I’m a huge believer in turning our pain into power, in finding the good sat next to the bad and I believe The Luca Foundation can create an incredible amount of good.

I truly admire Sharon for speaking out about Luca, and sharing her story about baby loss so openly to highlight the Charity and its aims. Luca’s legacy lives on through the work Sharon is doing, and the vital funds the Charity raises to support parents and families. I am honoured and delighted to be a Trustee of The Luca Foundation.

The work of the Luca Foundation is close to my heart. I have experienced the loss of two babies and know amidst that trauma how difficult it is to find support and gain space to grieve. Accordingly, this is the right charity for me to engage with. I have accepted this role to actively promote the Luca Foundation, especially the charity’s aims and events, and to provide mentoring.

Upon coming across The Luca Foundation, I was blown away by Sharon’s incredible resilience. To use such hardship to help others is truly inspirational. Many of us have been touched by someone who has had a similar experience, and after learning about the foundation, I was incredibly moved by everything Sharon has achieved. I’m honoured to be a Trustee and help Sharon and her team impact even more people’s lives and build on the incredible work they are doing across the UK.

I am in awe at the work Sharon and her team of supporters have accomplished and so was very honoured to be asked to be an ambassador. Losing a child is known as the worst loss, and I know first hand, the importance of being with your child as long as possible whilst retaining their dignity. Not only has Sharon coped with her loss whilst supporting others, but she has made the impact of loss slightly less by giving parents the gift of time.

I met Sharon a few years ago at a networking event and it was as though we’d known each other for years. I was blown away by her story of resilience and wanted to support The Luca Foundation and the charity’s fundraising activity. I’m extremely honoured that Sharon approached me to become a Trustee and although I don’t have children of my own, I want to do everything I can to make a difference.

When I first met Sharon in the early days of her charity, I was instantly inspired by, not only her story, but her subsequent drive to make a difference to others who have experienced the same darkness in their lives.
I was proud to be invited to become an ambassador for such a wonderful charity and be a small part of its continued future journey of growth and success.

Sharon is Luca’s Mummy and has dedicated the foundation to the memory of her 1st son, Luca.

Jas is Luca’s Daddy and Co Founder of the charity established in his son’s memory.

I am passionate about being able to support great charities and when I met Sharon for the first time I was truly inspired by her story and what she has been through and how she is now helping so many other families.

It is a real pleasure and an honour to be supporting The Luca Foundation and spreading the word about this great charity and making a real difference to so many families.

Firstly I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to come on board with you and the other Trustees to raise awareness and funds for The Luca Foundation.

I have gained so much insight and understanding into the work you all do. Prior to supporting The Luca Foundation I was not aware of cuddle cots and how much they help families at such difficult times. I have had family members who have sadly lost their baby therefore this charity is close to my heart.

I would like to come on as a Trustee and continue to work and support to raise awareness and funds. You help so many people in so many ways. From previous events I have met people who had no idea about the charity. I therefore want to help get more information out there to enable families to access this charity to support them.

I look forward to working with you all.

I adore helping those in need, so I would be thrilled to donate my time to the Luca Foundation cause. This cause is really heartfelt, and I can’t image how painful it must be for loving families. I would love to join The Luca Foundation and support parents/ families who have lost a loved one especially a child and provide my financial expertise to help the cause become financially successful so we can assist as many families who have lost a loved one.

As a parent of three children who have chronic blood problems, it is devastating for me. I would love to support other parents who have experienced suffering and work to improve the lives of families. I love supporting others because the feeling is rewarding. I recently lost a family member to Covid-19, 22 months ago and the pain is unbearable. I understand and would love to help this cause.

Arvi volunteers his time as chairman to the charity, but runs his own business as a residential property solicitor at Samra Legal helping clients with their conveyancing for their sale, purchase or remortgages”.

‘I would like to be a trustee for the charity as I want to help make a difference to parents who have gone through such a difficult time of losing their baby. I also want to help provide some comfort that they are not alone. Promoting the Foundation to increase awareness and raise funding is very important to me.’
